About the program

The German Studies in Germany program is a month-long experience specifically designed for language and cultural study-the improvement of language and cultural skills on the undergraduate level-through intensive, focused course work where the language of instruction is German,
through daily interaction mostly in German, and through managing daily life and work in a major German city. The time (four weeks) in Dresden is preceded by a visit (three days) in Berlin, during which Ms. Stellmacher will introduce the students to various aspects of German culture, and to sites of historical and artistic interest. The group will spend another day in Berlin before returning to Atlanta. While in Dresden, the students visit numerous sites in the city and region as part of their course work and as part of two required weekend field trips.
